About Me

I started beading in the spring of 2004 when I picked up a copy of Stringing magazine that caught my eye while in the checkout lane of a local craft store. I tried my hand at a few of the projects and not long after that I began experimenting with various patterns by changing the specified beads and findings. In time I began developing my own designs.

I fell in love with retro styles while searching the net for inspiration. Perhaps I am a romantic but the vintage items I stumbled across brought wistful images of old Hollywood cocktail parties to mind, and though I had never heard of Miriam Haskell before I became a devoted admirer in short order and was dying try my hand at creating something like these attention grabbing pieces!

Though I'm based in Birmingham, Alabama at present, I hope to relocate to New Orleans upon retirement from my "real" job.
